Vehicle data sheet

The Workshop system offers a comprehensive and detailed interface for vehicle management in the workshop, providing critical information on vehicle status, history and characteristics.

The information represented in each of its sections is detailed as follows

1. General information

This section provides a summary of the vehicle's status and main data. It includes the basic information necessary for the identification and tracking of the vehicle in the workshop.

Summary:
Basic vehicle information such as make, model, chassis, registration and mileage is displayed.
Delivery:
Information regarding the owner and the depositories of the vehicle in case they are not the same person. In addition, information about the most important dates of the vehicle such as first registration, sale, delivery... is included.
Information:
More detailed information about the model, version and trim is shown.
Warranties, maintenance contracts and campaigns:
These sections show if the vehicle has any of these active services, indicates the detail of the service and the period of validity of these.

2. Equipments

This section describes all technical functions and systems installed in the vehicle, both standard and additional. The equipment list includes the factory codes and a description of the features

3. History

The history section shows previous maintenance appointments and work carried out on the vehicle. Each record includes important details that help the workshop to properly track repairs.
Information displayed for each record:

Appointment number: Unique identification of each service appointment.
Work order: Order number linked to each work performed or to be performed.
Tracking: Current status of the intervention, such as ‘To be received’ or ‘In progress’.
Date: Date on which the appointment was scheduled or made.
Depositary: Name of the person who left the vehicle at the workshop.
Status: Billing status, with options such as ‘Billed’ or ‘Not Billed’.

4. Technical Data

This section will only be visible if the technical information is available in the system.

This section contains the detailed technical data sheet of the vehicle, including manufacturer's specifications, engine information, emissions, and other relevant technical data.

VIN Number: Identification of the vehicle according to the manufacturer.
Brand and Model: Details of the exact make and model of the vehicle.
Engine Capabilities: Engine specifications, such as displacement, power in kW or horsepower.
Weight: Gross and net weight of the vehicle.
Dimensions: Information on the dimensions of the vehicle and its components.
Tyres: Details of front and rear tyre dimensions.
Emissions: Emission classification of the vehicle according to current regulations (e.g. EURO 4).

This section provides all the technical information required by workshops for repairs, adjustments or more specialised services.

5. Factory connection

This functionality is only available for VW Group vehicles.

This section manages data related to the vehicle's connectivity with the factory or online services, allowing the workshop to enable functions, services, and licenses.

The following sections are available

Registration

Customer email: Displays the email address associated with the customer who owns the vehicle.
Enrollment status: Indicates whether the vehicle is correctly registered in the system and if the connected services are active.
Preferred service dealer: Displays whether a preferred dealer has been selected for vehicle servicing.
Automatic workshop appointment request service: Indicates if the function to automatically generate workshop appointments based on the vehicle's needs is active.

Workshop Status

Allows the workshop to understand the vehicle’s status in relation to the workshop.

Workshop mode: Displays if the vehicle is in workshop mode, which can activate or deactivate certain functions to facilitate maintenance.
Toggle workshop mode: Button that allows switching between "Active" and "Inactive" states of workshop mode.

Quick Access

Includes shortcuts to perform common actions:

Verify client identity: Function to validate the owner's information.
Online diagnosis: Option to perform a remote diagnosis of the vehicle.
Request vouchers in the online store: Allows the customer to access discounts or special vouchers.

Licenses

This subsection lists the licenses associated with the vehicle, including the renewal and expiration dates.

License name: Identification of the license assigned to the vehicle.
Renewal date: Date when the license must be renewed.
Expiration date: The expiration date of the license validity.

Functions on Demand

List of additional functions that can be activated or purchased based on the customer's needs.

This section enables advanced vehicle management by allowing the activation of functions and additional services on demand, as well as managing the associated licenses.
