How to use filtering tables
Tables in the system allow you to move columns and apply sorting by the data of one or even several columns
1. Order Changes (Move Columns / Reorder)
This function is used to change the horizontal position of a column (for example, moving the "Brand" column before the "Model" column).
With the Mouse (Drag and Drop)
How to do it: Click and hold on the header text of the column you want to move, drag it left or right, and release it in its new position. You will see a visual indicator line showing you where it will drop.
2. Sorting (Data Sorting)
This function is used to classify the table rows according to the values in that column (in ascending, descending order, or to remove the order).
With the Mouse
How to do it: Perform a single click on the column header.
1st Click: Ascending Order (A-Z / 0-9). An upward arrow will appear
2nd Click: Descending Order (Z-A / 9-0). A downward arrow will appear
3rd Click: Removes the order (returns to the original data state).
3. Multi-Column Sorting (Advanced)
Sometimes you need to sort by a primary criterion and, in case of a tie, by a secondary criterion (for example, sort first by "Make" of car and, within the same make, by "Model").
With the Mouse: Click on the first column normally. For the second column, hold down the key Shift (Shift) while clicking on the secondary header.
With the Keyboard: Place the focus on the secondary header with the tab key and press Shift + Enter or Shift + Space
You will see small numbers appear next to the arrows (▲1▲2) indicating the sorting priority order.
