Steps to Register a Contact Attempt:

  2. Access the lead's detail view to which you want to record the contact attempt.
  3. In the lead's detail view, look for and click on the designated button to register a contact attempt. This button may be labeled as "Register Contact Attempt".
  4. By clicking on the button, a pop-up window with a contact attempt registration form will appear.
  5. In the form, you will find the following elements:
    • Communication Channel: Use a selector to indicate the communication channel used for the contact. This could be a phone call, email, text message, in-person meeting, and more.
    • Comments: In a comments section, provide details related to the contact attempt. This may include a summary of the conversation, actions taken, and any other relevant information.
  6. Complete the contact attempt registration form with the necessary information.
  7. Once you have recorded all the contact attempt details, click the "Save" button to store the information in the system.
  8. The contact attempt information will be saved in the system and will be available in the lead's detail view and in the interaction history with the lead.

Important Considerations

  • It is crucial that users record contact attempts accurately and in detail to maintain a comprehensive and understandable record of interactions with the lead.
  • Ensure you use the correct communication channel when registering the contact attempt, as this provides valuable information about how communication with the lead is being managed.

The process of registering contact attempts is an essential part of lead management, as it enables effective tracking of communications with potential customers. Accurate and detailed records contribute to more effective management and a better understanding of the lead relationship.
