General definitions

Supplier Assignment

It is the information that suppliers send to Importers and Dealers about the orders to suppliers that said importers and dealers make to their suppliers.

For example:

  • I am an importer and I order 2 units of a Factory reference.
  • Factory, when you process the order to serve it to me, you find that you only have 1 unit available and the other has to manufacture it, then he informs me that in a Confirmation (also known as Supplier Assignment).
  • In the event that another piece is going to serve me replacing The one I asked for also informs me, and in that case SIMA creates the replacement if it did not previously exist.

Supplier notification

When I am an Importer and create a replacement (or any other operation on the master catalog), notifies to all my Dealers automatically said new replacement, so that it is created in all of them at the same time and the dealer network remains homogeneously updated.
