Direct delivery orders

Direct delivery orders

Business level process

Direct delivery orders are those customer orders that are served directly by the supplier, the parts never go through the importer.

The process would be as follows:

  • A customer places an order
  • The supplier order is automatically generated
  • The supplier sends the parts to the customer
  • The supplier invoices the parts to the importer
  • SIMA automatically imports the purchase invoice and generates the corresponding sales invoice

Configuration in SIMA

In order for a customer to be able to receive parts directly from the supplier, it must be configured in SIMA that the customer is a direct delivery customer.

To configure it in SIMA we have to do the following:

  • Open SIMA in the Importer through which the customer is going to place the orders
  • Go to the path [Parts Module -> Configuration Tab -> Customers Section -> Direct delivery Option]
  • Add a configuration indicating:
  • Third party
  • Customer order type
  • Supplier
  • Supplier order type
