Closing a Lead without Workshop Appointment
The process of closing a lead without scheduling a workshop appointment allows users to conclude lead management when an agreement for a workshop appointment has not been reached. Below are the steps and key elements of this process:
Steps to Close a Lead without Workshop Appointment:
- If an agreement has not been reached with the lead to schedule a workshop appointment and it is determined that the lead does not require a prior appointment, the user assigned to the lead must close it and specify the reason for closure.
- In the lead's detail view, look for and click on the button labeled as "Close Lead without Appointment" or a similar tag.
- By clicking on the button, a pop-up window with a lead closing form will appear.
- In the lead closing form, you will find the following elements:
- Communication Channel: Use a selector to indicate the communication channel used to inform the lead about the closure. This can be a phone call, email, text message, or another method.
- Reason for Closure: Select a reason for closure from the dropdown. The possible reasons are:
- Customer does not need an appointment.
- Customer not reachable.
- Customer does not want an appointment.
- Duplicate.
- Lead rejected by dealer.
- Customer no longer in possession of the vehicle.
- Provided contact channels no longer valid.
- Others (Only if "Others" is selected, a section will appear to add comments related to the reason for closure).
- Complete the lead closing form with the required information.
- Once you have recorded the reason for closure, click the "Save" button or a similar option to store the information in the system.
- After closing the lead, no further actions can be taken on it, as it is considered managed and concluded.
Important Considerations
- It is essential that users record the reason for closure accurately and in detail to maintain a proper record of actions taken with the lead.
- Closing the lead allows for efficient and organized management of leads that do not require a prior workshop appointment.
The process of closing a lead without a workshop appointment is crucial for lead management and ensures that leads are handled appropriately, whether by scheduling an appointment or concluding the process when no prior appointment is needed.
