Collecting customer consents
Collecting customer consents
Summary of the process for collecting customer consents.
Each company has been assigned a web URL to collect all consent requests that users can generate from different application contexts.
Users must open that URL in an Internet browser to see all the requests that are generated. To do this:
- Open the URL and refresh the content using the button marked as 1.
- Search for the request that has been sent for our current customer.
- Click on the customer.
The consent page will open.
What information do we collect from our customers?
First, the privacy policy acceptance information associated with the current company is displayed, relating to the commercial and contractual conditions established:
Accept the privacy policy
After accepting the privacy policy, which is mandatory to contact our customers in the context of the operation being processed, we will request the reasons from the Domingo Alonso Group Ecosystem, as shown below:
- We will mark YES or NO for each reason.
- Accept the DAG Business Group Data Protection Information Policy.
- On tablets, customers can sign on screen.
- After signing on the tablet, press SIGN to create a PDF with the collected consents including the signature. It is possible to PRINT the PDF from a new browser tab and print it for the customer to sign the document.
These reasons were applied to the DAG ecosystem and will be synchronized with CRM.
REMEMBER: For printed documents, we highly recommend scanning this document and attaching it to the customer's digital file to cover those cases where this printed and signed document may be needed. For tablet devices, the PDF will be automatically saved in the company-specific folder for signed documents on the server.
How do I update a consent given after the first signature confirmation?
Users who had access to the old opt-out button can now access the new button.
After clicking the New button, the browser will open a new tab with all the necessary information related to consent collection in the DAG environment.
Each target consent can be updated (YES / NO) and for those targets agreed as YES we can set them (disable them) as NO according to specific channels (phone call, SMS, email) and then specify the preferred contact method. This action does not require a signature.
