Postponing a Contact Attempt

In certain situations, a lead may indicate that they wish to be contacted at a later date. To address this need, the contact attempt registration form provides a functionality that allows the postponement of a contact attempt.

Steps to Postpone a Contact Attempt:

  1. During the process of registering a contact attempt with a lead, if the lead specifies that they want to be contacted at a later date, the user registering the contact attempt has the option to postpone it.
  2. In the contact attempt registration form, there will be a button labeled as "Postpone." By clicking on this button, the postponement feature is activated.
  3. When the postponement feature is activated, the user will be prompted to enter the date and time for the next contact attempt with the lead.
  4. Once the date and time for the postponement have been specified, the user must save the changes.

It is only possible to postpone the contact attempt once for each lead.

Action Lock During Postponement

The postponement functionality allows users to effectively manage lead preferences and schedule contact attempts according to their needs and availability. By ensuring that the lead is not contacted again before the specified date, the customer experience is enhanced, and duplicative efforts by the sales or customer service team are avoided.
