## Modify the Taric Code

SIMA allows us to assign *Taric codes* to parts from the *Parts Control Board*.

To assign a Taric code to a part we must do the following:

- Open the *Parts Control Board*, which is located in the path: *\[Parts Module -> Parts tab -> Parts section -> Control Board option\]*.

- Type the *Part code* in the *Part* field and press Enter.

- Select the *Master tab*.

- Click on the *Modify* button.

- Click on the *Taric* field to position the mouse in that field.

- Enter the *Taric code*.

- Click the *Accept* button.

Now the *Taric code* has been saved.

## Multi-brand parts

SIMA does not manage *multi-brand* parts, therefore the same *part code* cannot exist with two different brands.

In the event that the same part code exists with two different brands, for example ARO brand and PRO brand, what must be done is:

- Decide which part should really exist, the one with the ARO brand or the one with the PRO brand.

- Transfer all the stock from one part to the other, for example if only the ARO brand should exist, then transfer the stock from the one with the PRO brand to the one with the ARO brand.

- Cancel the part that should not exist, in this example it would be the one with the PRO brand.

In this way only one part code will exist in SIMA.
