# Order status management

## Reopen Order

Allows reopening closed repair orders to return them to an operational state and continue their administrative management and customer communication.

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Open the **Repair Order (RO)** and navigate to the screen header.
2. Click on the **status actions selector**.
3. Select the **Reopen Order** option.
4. Confirm the action and verify that the status correctly changes to **Pending Administrative Verification (M)**.

**Pro Tips / Usage Notes**

- This action is exclusively enabled when the RO is in one of the following statuses: **Finished (T)**, **Notified (L)**, **End of Follow-up (F)**, or **Delivered (E)**.
- The option is automatically hidden and will not be displayed in active operational statuses such as *Pending Reception (P)*, *Open (A)*, or *Started (I)*.
- > **Recommendation:** Always review the impact on active communications or previous notifications before reopening a finalized RO.

**Relationship with Other Modules**

Directly impacts the workflow of the **Workshop Follow-up** module and the traceability logic of the **Order History**, as it returns closed files to an active administrative phase.

## Deliver Order

Enables the formal delivery of the repair order from permitted statuses, automatically guiding the service advisor to the specific delivery view.

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Enter the corresponding RO and check that its current status allows for vehicle and key delivery.
2. In the interface header, open the **actions selector**.
3. Click on the **Deliver** option.
4. Verify that the system immediately redirects you to the corresponding delivery view.

**Pro Tips / Usage Notes**

- This action is manually enabled **only** when the order is in the **Notified (L)** status.
- In incompatible statuses or subsequent closing phases such as *Finished (T)*, *Delivered (E)*, or *End of Follow-up (F)*, the option will not appear in the menu.
- If you cannot see the action in the selector, validate the current technical status of the order and check the permitted manual transitions within the workflow.

**Relationship with Other Modules**

Directly connects the operational header of the RO with the **Digital Vehicle Delivery** module, streamlining the process for document review and capturing the customer's digital signature on the device.

## Transition to Administrative Review

Incorporates a manual transition to execute the administrative verification of the RO only when the configured status workflow allows it.

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Access the **Repair Order (RO)** from the dashboard or the advisor's tracking list.
2. In the header section, open the **status actions selector**.
3. Select the **Administrative Review** option as soon as it becomes available in the menu.
4. Confirm the transition and validate the status change reflected in the order header.

**Pro Tips / Usage Notes**

- The availability of this button strictly depends on the current status of the RO and the manual transition rules parameterized in the system.
- In multiple invalid statuses within the workshop workflow, the action is automatically hidden to prevent management errors.
- It is a good practice to use this transition before proceeding with final closing actions, thereby avoiding bottlenecks or blocks in subsequent billing stages.

**Relationship with Other Modules**

Reinforces control within the **Workshop Follow-up** screen, ensuring correct auditing and data verification by the advisor before proceeding with the notification or definitive delivery of the vehicle.

## Transition to End of Follow-up

Allows definitively closing the post-sales follow-up of a previously delivered repair order, moving it to the last state of its lifecycle in SIMA.

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Open a **Repair Order (RO)** that is specifically in the **Delivered (E)** status.
2. In the header area, expand the **actions selector**.
3. Click on the **Finish** option.
4. Visually check that the RO changes its status to **End of Follow-up (F)**.

**Pro Tips / Usage Notes**

- This action is restricted and will only be enabled for orders that have a starting status of **Delivered (E)**.
- In earlier repair stages or in files that have already been completely archived, the option will not be displayed in the interface menu.
- Using this action correctly is essential to keep the backlog of active orders under the service advisor's responsibility refined, clean, and up to date.

**Relationship with Other Modules**

Directly affects the advisor's query database and the technical **Vehicle History** section, ending post-delivery follow-up operational alerts.

## Transition to Notified

Allows registering and marking the repair order as "notified" to formalize the communication of completed work with the customer and enable the next operational step in the workshop.

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Access a **Repair Order (RO)** whose current status is **Finished (T)**.
2. In the order management header, open the **actions selector**.
3. Select the **Notify** action.
4. Verify that the RO status automatically changes to **Notified (L)**.

**Pro Tips / Usage Notes**

- If the associated vehicle has pending official campaigns or manufacturer recalls, the system will trigger an additional pop-up warning or notification after executing the *Notify* action.
- Once the *Notified (L)* status is reached, or if the order is in any other incompatible status, the action will be hidden from the dropdown menu.
- Always use this transition as a control point and mandatory milestone before moving on to the formal **Vehicle Delivery** process.

**Relationship with Other Modules**

Links the technical completion status of breakdowns in the **Current Jobs** table with the customer service workflow, enabling the record to be loaded into the daily list of the **Digital Vehicle Delivery** module.

## Order Cancellation

Allows canceling a repair order directly from the header to interrupt and close its lifecycle in a controlled manner when administratively appropriate.

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Open the **Repair Order (RO)** you need to cancel.
2. In the top section of the header, expand the **actions selector**.
3. Select the **Cancel** option.
4. Confirm the warning window and validate that the order status changes to **Canceled (N)**.

**Pro Tips / Usage Notes**

- The direct transition to the **Canceled (N)** status is fully mapped and structured from multiple intermediate work or order closure statuses.
- > **Important:** Before confirming the cancellation, it is mandatory to validate the economic impact and the implications on parts lines, labor hours, and bookings registered up to that moment.

- Use this action with strict administrative and functional criteria to avoid accidental loss of operational traceability.

**Relationship with Other Modules**

Immediately impacts the **Control Panel (Dashboard)**, **Workshop Follow-up**, and frees up tasks within the **Daily Planner** if there were mechanic hours reserved for that specific order.
