# Direct delivery orders

## Direct delivery orders

## Business level process

Direct delivery orders are those customer orders that are served directly by the supplier, the parts never go through the importer.

The process would be as follows:

-   A customer places an order

-   The supplier order is automatically generated

-   The supplier sends the parts to the customer

-   The supplier invoices the parts to the importer

-   SIMA automatically imports the purchase invoice and generates the corresponding sales invoice

## Configuration in SIMA

In order for a customer to be able to receive parts directly from the supplier, it must be configured in SIMA that the customer is a direct delivery customer.

To configure it in SIMA we have to do the following:

-   Open SIMA in the Importer through which the customer is going to place the orders

-   Go to the path \[Parts Module -> Configuration Tab -> Customers Section -> Direct delivery Option\]

-   Add a configuration indicating:

-   Third party

-   Customer order type

-   Supplier

-   Supplier order type
